An AI-assisted draft can be polished, fluent and strangely ownerless. Nothing is obviously wrong, but nothing in it could only have come from the person publishing it.
No prompt can promise originality. A better review puts three things back in view: the source, the position and the detail that belongs to this author.
Check one: what is the anchor?
Name the job, conversation, number, date or source behind the post. Make sure you have permission to use any client material and can point to the record behind each claim.
If there is no anchor, do not make the claim safer with softer wording. Delete it or find the record first.
Check two: what is the position?
Find the sentence that states what you think. A position can be calm, specific and open to disagreement. It does not need a claim about what most owners, clients or competitors do.
Attack the idea, choice or advice. Do not attack the reader.
Check three: what is specific to this author?
Cover the name and read the draft again. Look for the source detail, operating constraint or decision another writer would not have by default.
Do not add an invented number to make the post feel specific. Specificity comes from the record.
Run the checks in order
- Anchor: point to the source.
- Position: state the judgement.
- Specificity: keep the true detail that belongs to this author.
These checks do not guarantee attention, reach or client fit. They make the material easier to inspect before publication.
Common questions
Should I stop drafting with AI?
No. Use it for a first pass if the data conditions are acceptable, then verify the claims and put the author's judgement back in.
What if I have no useful anchor this week?
Do not invent one. Keep a record of questions, decisions and completed work, then write when there is material you can use responsibly.
Will taking a position lose clients?
There is no responsible promise either way. State the position clearly and judge the response from your own audience.
Put the author back in
Take the latest draft and point to its anchor, position and specific detail. If the useful material disappears before drafting begins, that mapping problem is work an AI Workflow Architecture can examine. Clients work directly with Shaun on delivery.
